Alberto Greco. Viva el arte vivo
The Museo Reina Sofía hosts, until June 8, this exhibition dedicated to Alberto Greco, a pioneer of “living art.” Less than 20 minutes by public transport from Gran View Apartments, the exhibition explores his career and his innovative approach to creating art in real time through interaction with the audience.

Hammershøi. The Eye That Listens
If you’re looking for unforgettable scenes, the exhibition at the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, dedicated to Danish painter Vilhelm Hammershøi, is a must-see. This retrospective brings together his enigmatic domestic interiors, capable of transporting you to late 19th-century Copenhagen. It will be available until May 31 and is less than a 20-minute walk from our apartments.

Echoes of Romantic Fashion
The Museo del Romanticismo showcases, until June 7, 40 creations by leading names in Spanish haute couture, such as Balenciaga, Pertegaz, and Pedro Rodríguez. The exhibition highlights how these designs reinterpret Romantic aesthetics, inspired by the clothing of 19th-century upper classes. The museum is just a 12-minute walk from Gran View Apartments.

Frida Kahlo by Woman Experiences
This immersive cultural experience, organized by UN Women, invites visitors to dive into the art of Frida Kahlo. Located on the ground floor at Paseo del Pintor Rosales 30, just a 7-minute drive from Gran View Apartments, it will be open until May 31.

Menchu Gal. Images of a Life
If you want to connect with authentic landscapes, this exhibition is a must. Located at the Serrería Belga, it celebrates the work of painter Menchu Gal, known for her vibrant figurative style in depicting Spanish landscapes. She was also the first woman to win the National Painting Prize in 1959. The retrospective runs until June 28 and is about 20 minutes by transport from our apartments.

Euphoria. Art is in the Air
Presented by the Balloon Museum, this traveling contemporary art exhibition places air at the center, featuring large-scale inflatable installations designed for audience interaction. It will take place at Puerta del Ángel until September 6, just a 20-minute walk from our apartments.

I Am Ashurbanipal, King of the World, King of Assyria
For those interested in history, CaixaForum Madrid dedicates this exhibition to King Ashurbanipal, one of history’s great forgotten rulers. As king of the Assyrian Empire in the 7th century BC, the exhibition gathers pieces from the British Museum exploring his legacy. It will be on display until October 4 and is about 20 minutes away by public transport.

In the Style of Italy. Spain and the Mediterranean Gothic
The Museo del Prado will host, until September 20, this exhibition dedicated to medieval Gothic art. Featuring over a hundred works by Italian masters, it showcases the richness of their technical and expressive styles. A chance to discover a new side of one of Madrid’s most iconic museums, just a 20-minute walk from Gran View Apartments.
