What can you find at the Madrid Planetarium?

The Madrid Planetarium, which opened in 1986 and was renovated in 2017, provides a unique educational and cultural experience for all ages. It has a broad programme of events including:

Opening hours and tickets
Sessions vary according to the time of year, with school visits in the morning and sessions for the general public in the afternoon and at weekends. The Planetarium is closed on Mondays all year round, and is currently open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. We recommend you visit the official website to confirm the exact dates.

As for tickets, they are only necessary to access the Projection Room. The cost is €3.60 for adults and €1.65 for children aged 2 to 14 and for people over 65. You can buy tickets at the Planetarium box office or reserve them online.
