The Vigilia stews, the torrijas, the pestiños or the penitentes de Alcalá. During Easter, Madrid offers many traditional dishes you simply must try. The famous torrijas are the favourite and most desired sweets for many, so we recommend you visit La Casa de las Torrijas, a traditional tavern where many people go exclusively to try this typical dessert. It is only an 11-minute walk from our apartments.
