Discover Madrid’s Zoo Aquarium

A few weeks ago, we mentioned Safari Madrid, but that’s not the only option to enjoy fascinating animals in the city. The Zoo Aquarium is another great option for a fun day out with children in Madrid. This 22-hectare park is home to a dolphinarium, an aquarium, an aviary and a zoo with more than 1,300 animals of 333 different species from 7 continents: Africa, South America, North America, Central America and the Caribbean, Asia, Europe and Oceania.

Located in Casa de Campo, you can get there by private vehicle or public transport (Metro lines 10 and 5 or EMT bus line 33). From our apartments, it will take you less than 20 minutes by car and only half an hour by Metro. The zoo has everything you need for a perfect visit: pushchairs, identification bracelets for children, wheelchairs and electric scooters for people with reduced mobility, cloakrooms, baby-changing facilities and much more. You can also bring your own food from home and eat in the picnic areas or enjoy delicious dishes in the park’s restaurants. 

As for opening hours, the zoo is open daily from 11 am to 8 pm, and prices range from €16.90 for children aged 3 to 7 and €19.90 for all other visitors. However, discounts are available for seniors over 65, large families, and groups.
