Mercadillo de Plaza Elíptica (Elíptica Square Market)

This market is only 30 minutes by Metro and bus from our apartments. It is located in the Carabanchel district and is open every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is one of the most complete markets in the city, featuring stalls that sell all sorts of items: clothing, footwear, bags, accessories, plants, and much more. Ideal for enjoying fantastic shopping at affordable prices. We suggest arriving early to secure the best bargains. 

Mercado Municipal de Productores Planetario (Planetario Municipal Producers' Market)

Support local businesses and find organic and/or artisanal products in this charming market consisting of 36 small producers from Madrid. It is held on the first and third Sunday of every month in the Arganzuela District, about a 20-minute drive from our apartments. In addition to enjoying workshops for the whole family, you will be able to buy oils, meats, vegetables, fruit and natural fruit juices, among many other products. 

Mercadillo Plaza Castilla (Castilla Square Market)

This market is held on Asturias Avenue every Sunday and public holiday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is easily accessible by public transport in 30 minutes from Gran View Apartments. With prices ranging from €1 to €15, you will find a wide variety of products: jewellery, clothing, books, furniture, and footwear. A superb plan for a Sunday morning!

Mercadillo de Aluche (Aluche Market)

Regarded as one of the most popular in Madrid, the Aluche Market is held every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Poblados Avenue, a 30-minute Metro ride from our building. Among its many stalls, you will discover clothing from renowned brands at irresistible prices, as well as second-hand clothes and accessories. A must for bargain hunters!

El Rastro
