For those who want to swim surrounded by nature, the public pool at the Centro Deportivo Municipal Casa de Campo is a fantastic option, just 20 minutes by metro from Gran View Apartments. It is open every day in two sessions (morning and afternoon) and offers very affordable prices, with tickets from €2.25 per session, which must be purchased through the Madrid Móvil app or the DeportesMadrid website. Its prime location also means you can enjoy other outdoor activities afterwards, such as a stroll by the lake.

Canal de Isabel II Sports Facilities
Another great option for cooling off in Madrid in summer is the pool at the Canal de Isabel II Sports Facilities, located 20 minutes by metro from our apartments. It has a café and a designated eating area, making it ideal for a full day out. We recommend purchasing tickets online in advance, as capacity is limited.

Centro Deportivo Municipal San Fermín
Looking for a summer pool in Madrid suitable for children? The Centro Deportivo Municipal San Fermín is an excellent choice. Located 28 minutes by metro from Gran View Apartments, this public pool is known for its family-friendly atmosphere. It offers three access sessions: morning, afternoon, and full day. To secure your tickets, it is advisable to buy them online. The facilities include a pool for adults, one for children, and a smaller one ideal for babies. There is also a shaded picnic area, perfect for a full summer day out with little ones.

Playa de Madrid Río
Although not a traditional pool, the Playa de Madrid Río is one of the best places to cool down within the natural surroundings of the park, especially for family fun. It features three water areas where visitors can splash around thanks to water jets with changing effects. An ideal option to enjoy nature without leaving the city. It is located 27 minutes by public transport from Gran View Apartments and is completely free of charge.

Centro de Natación Mundial 86
Are you a swimming enthusiast? You will love the pool at the Centro de Natación Mundial 86. Built for the 1986 World Swimming Championships, it is the perfect place for swimming lovers, with multiple outdoor pools including an Olympic-size one, a diving pool, and spaces for younger swimmers. It is located 30 minutes by public transport from our apartments and is open until 6 September from 11:00 to 19:45.

Gran View Apartments
We could not leave out the pool at Gran View Apartments. Located on the rooftop of our apartment building right on the Gran Vía in Madrid, it is exclusively for guests and offers an urban oasis with a bar and breathtaking panoramic views. Enjoy a relaxed and intimate atmosphere without ever having to leave the apartments.
