Serrano Street - The Golden Mile

Topping this list is the iconic Serrano Street, located in the prestigious Salamanca district, about 15 minutes by metro from our apartments. This is home to the "Golden Mile", where you will find the main luxury shops, which also extend along other streets, such as Ortega y Gasset, Velázquez, Goya, Castelló, Jorge Juan and Lagasca. If you are after the most exclusive brands, this is the place for you. 

Puerta del Sol and Gran Vía

One of the most popular shopping areas in Madrid is the city centre, especially Puerta del Sol and Gran Vía, where Gran View Apartments is located. This is the area with the greatest selection of shops in the city, where you can find Zara, Stradivarius, H&M, Pull&Bear, Adidas, the official Real Madrid shop and the largest Primark shop in Europe. Ideal for a shopping trip! In addition, walking along Gran Vía, towards Alcalá, you will come to Fuencarral Street, where there are also many shops.

Malasaña

If you like second-hand clothes or vintage fashion, the Malasaña district is what you're looking for. Packed with small shops, it is an area brimming with art and features a unique atmosphere in Madrid. Furthermore, it is just a 5-minute walk from Gran View Apartments. Some of the most popular shops in this area are Aramayo Vintage Malasaña, Kinda Kinks and Flamingos Vintage Kilo.

Las Rozas Village

Although this shopping centre is somewhat out of town, a visit to Las Rozas Village is a must if you're a shopping enthusiast. Just half an hour's drive from our apartments, this luxury outlet sells top brand products at a reduced price. Find real treasures from brands such as Scalpers, Nike, Loewe, Michael Kors or Massimo Dutti. 

El Rastro

We have already told you about this emblematic open-air flea market in this post, but we could not fail to include El Rastro in this list. It is only 13 minutes away from our apartments by metro. An excellent place to find clothes, books, antiques, vintage pieces, collectables, toys and handicrafts, among many other things. A must-see in Madrid.
